myBeatPad launches, try it out!

Late last week Apple approved our myBeatPad! It's now ready for download in the Apple Store free.

We know there are other boomboxes out there and the others have varying price points.   You'll know our boombox because it's gold, baby, GOLD!  None of the boomboxes out there right now justify high prices.   We want the users and the feedback to make ours worth the money.   Our version 1 is free.

BeatPad wins “Most Commercial” award in New York City’s iPad Hackathon event!

Ipadboombox

This past weekend developers gathered on both the east and west coast for iPad Dev Camp.  Each team struggled with the same problems with this new device?

"What is this thing?  No camera, no USB, and just media storage."
"And it's kinda heavy."

Just tunes, speaker, and weight?

Wait a minute...

Boombox.   On the shoulder. 

We made it. Four full weekend team members (a Graphic Designer, a Developer, a Producer, and a PM), a couple folks serving as sounding boards--and a lot of enthusiasm from our compatriots at the dev camp.  When we went to competition at the end of the weekend, we actually won something:  "Most Commercial App".   We'll take it. 

So yeah, we should put it in the App Store, right?  Right.  Working on it.  It's called BeatPad and we're thinking 99 cents.
